Reception Manager

C&N Recruitment are recruiting for a Reception Manager for a boutique 4* Hotel based just outside of Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire.

We are recruiting for a Reception Manager to manage a busy reception team, the ideal candidate will be organised, quick thinking and have a friendly and welcoming manner, will need to be a good problem solver and able to prioritise workloads. Previous experience as a reception manager is a must.

Salary: From £30,000 to £32,000 per annum

The role:

  • Working as part of the reception team, performing reception duties – check ins and outs, reservations, dealing with guest enquiries.
  • Managing the reception & night team
  • Monitoring occupancy levels to ensure it is maximised at all times.
  • Monitoring daily reservations to ensure any guest issues are anticipated.
  • Monitoring weekly reservations to ensure hotel budget is achieved.

Requirements:

  • Previous hotel reception experience as managerial level as a minimum is a must
  • Previous knowledge of Rezlynx system will be an advantage.
  • You must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business.
  • An excellent standard of presentation is essential.
  • Successful applicants will work a variety of shifts.
