Assistant Restaurant Manager

C&N Recruitment are working with a boutique hotel/ restaurant based on the out skirts of Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire recruiting for an assistant restaurant manager. The restaurant offers a seasonal changing menu which is inspired from the kitchen garden and local suppliers. The restaurant offers British classics with a refined touch.
The role of the Assistant Restaurant Manager will involve:
- Management of the venue so that all guests receive excellent standards of customer service.
- Meeting and greeting guests.
- Leading shifts, including training, and motivating the team.
- Achieving budgetary targets and making recommendations for development.
- Liaising effectively with the Head Chefs regarding menus and upcoming bookings.
- Dealing with customer queries and issues.
- Monitoring rotas daily
- Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Requirements for the Assistant Restaurant Manager:
- Candidates must enjoy being a “hands-on” member of a team.
- All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business.
- An excellent standard of presentation is essential.
- Our managers work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.
